Limitations of PicoScope Software using PS 2205A

Post by RolandF »

Hi,
i am interested in the PicoScope 2205A.
I tested the software in demo mode, and find it very good.
What are the limitations in normal mode when using the PicoScope 2205A?
If i use the enhanced resolution with low frequency, can i use the zoom window?
Or is the zoom window deactivated because of the missing analog offset?

Many thanks and greetings

Roland

Hello,
Having just acquired and explored a 2205A, I can confirm that the zoom window works well, if I understand your question properly. Test conditions were a 2 Hz sawtooth (is that what you mean by low?) from the integrated signal generator, 12 bits enhanced vertical resolution (by averaging), sample rate 40 kSps (before averaging), and 1 sec/div timebase.

Everything has limitations. It all depends what you are trying to do. If you can be much more specific I will try to answer.
