PicoScope 4824 Not Responding

Hi all,

I'm having to run impact force attenuation tests as part of my university research and for this I'm using a PicoPress sensors. I have ran these tests before using PicoScope pre-loaded to a university thinkpad, and I know just enough about using the software to get the job done. However, the laptop has been stolen and I have now downloaded the Picoscope software to my personal MAC. I'm already having trouble, the page heading reads PicoScope 4824 Not Responding and the sheet/page where the graph would usually be has been replaced with 'waiting for data.' I have reloaded the software multiple times and restarted my laptop and nothing seems to be helping. Can anyone offer any advice please?
