High Sierra

Post by melee »

Good afternoon,

I currently have a pico 2204a which has been working fine on the windows laptop but now I have fixed my MacBook and tried to install pico 6 onto it then it just crashes and gives me a error file.

My macbook is 2.4ghz duo core with 250 gb solid state drive which has high Sierra 10.13.6

any help would be grateful

Hi melee,

Could you send your query into our help desk at support@picotech.com, along with (a) a description of exactly what you are doing up to the point of it crashing (b) what you mean by crashing (does the software just hang, does it stop and give an error message, does it quit, does the pc hang, etc..) and (c) any supporting files such as the error file, data/setup files, log files or a trace.xml file, that may help.

Regards,

Gerry

yes I can send all info you require. the PicoScope icon bounces on the bottom task bar, then disappears then error log comes up

Same thing is happening to me, just purchased a 2204a and trying to set up the software but upon loading the Pico software it crashes and sends an error file. I read somewhere to install mono but alas its still happening.
