Hi olivermac,

Check your operating system version against the ones I mentioned in the previous post, otherwise, try the following:

Right-click (or ctrl+click) on the installer and select "Open". If you then see the same warning notice again, but with an additional "Open" button, click on it to run the installer.

Hi Oliver,

What OS version are you attempting to install it on?

Morning Gerry, just a brief Q that I've seen asked previously about earlier versions.

Will I be able to connect and run more than 1 scope at a time per application, or even run two instances of Picoscope simultaneously?

Would be a great feature that I'm sure people would be more than happy to see.
Thanks.

Can someone point me at a version for PicoScope software for the Mac? I have installed a VM running an earlier version of MacOS so I can run the Beta but I can't find an install file for V6 Beta on the Picotech downloads page.

Not sure if this is still relevant for you, but it is here:

Picotech.com -> downloads -> choose your oscilloscope -> Mac -> PicoScope 6.14.44. Direct link: https://www.picotech.com/downloads/_lig ... oscope6mac.

Picoscope 6.14.54 & Mac OSX 10.13.6 - Crashes again and again

I have read back through the forum but did not find a solution - just other members with the same problem

I am a long time and happy user of PIcoLog on Macs and PCs and bought a PicoScope 2206B and expected trouble free operation.

Not so.

Installation went ok. First run took ages then crashed - subsequent runs crash sooner.

Installed Version 7.0 to see if that made a difference - no

Got out my Windows 8 Tower PC - flawless install and operation but I really needed this to run on my MacBook for portability.

Any suggestions gratefully received

Hi Rufus,

Just a suggestion to narrow down the problem a bit. If you do not connect a device, the software will offer to use a demo device (a simulation). Try to do the same things you did previously and see if that also triggers a crash. If it does, you can perhaps further narrow down the problem to a specific action since the simulated device is more deterministic than your actual device. If it does not, it might be in the driver. You can subsequently e-mail support with a more detailed description of your problem. Good luck!

Best,
David

Thanks for the suggestion David

Picoscope crashes with or without the Picoscope connected.

I will email support.
