Control PicoScope in command line

Post by HuchiChang »

I am new to PicoScope, recently I am testing a python script ( for remote controlling the device (pico4824), and I found when I turned on the APP (PicoScope 6 Beta ver, then my python script would not able to control the device at the same time (have to chose one way only), it will always return " picosdk.errors.PicoSDKCtypesError: PicoSDK returned 'PICO_NOT_FOUND' " . But once I turned the APP off, then everything goes well...

I just saw there was a discussion thread which is about how to control device but just sending commands in terminal, (, for example ..

>>picoscope /a NumberOfSamples.Value=1M

and I just took a quick try, but seems it's not work in MAC (Catalina 10.15.5), is there any similar way to do so in MAC OS ?

Thanks in advance
