Is my Pico 5444b scope damaged?

Post by stephan_hochmueller »

Hello,

I have a strange behavior of my pico scope 5444b. I was measuring a 16MHz SPI signal. The lines looks like bandwidth limited to 1MHz. With a cheap 5MHz limited scope the signal looks much better. On a Test with a function generator i could observe the same behavior (BNC to BNC connected). Rise time of the signal is about 18ns. With a 10:1 probe the signal looks better but still not good (rise time of about 8ns).

What can I do?

Regards, Stephan

We would need to see a psdata file to be able to comment, can you post here or send to support@picotech.com and just save the current waveform to keep the size down
