pH and Redox simultaneously over USB-DrDAQ

Post by Jeff Spedding »

I have just acquired a USB DrDAQ. I have a pH electrode attached over the appropriate BNC connection. I want to log a Redox value parallel to the logged pH value at the same time. Can I attach the Pico Redox electrode over another input such as Ext1 and measure Redox as a mV voltage? Can I add a very high resistance accross the input to simulate the character of the pH (BNC) input? Do I need a second DrDAQ for this? Up to now, we normally have used ADC-24 or 1216 for this with two separate pH/Redox meters.

The same approach you have used with the ADC-24 and 1216 would work with the DrDaq Ext inputs. Alternatively you would need to use a second DrDaq.
