linux and PicoScope4224

Postby gardiaza » Tue Sep 20, 2011 9:10 am

Dear all,
I've just received a PicoScope4224, and when I searched for Linux drivers, I didn't find any. Am I doing something wrong, or there is no driver for it?

Thanks,

Jose.

Unfortunately we do not currently have Linux drivers for the 4000 series scopes.

We will be looking to add these to our list of devices supported under Linux but have no timescales for when this work will be completed.

Please contact support@picotech.com if you require further information and updates.

Dear Martyn,
that's very unfortunate. I understand that you cannot provide accurate timescales, but if you can at least give us a rough idea when there might be something, so I can tell my boss not to return it.

Thanks,

Jose

Drivers for the latest 3000 series scopes are due for release shortly, and after that we will be working on drivers for the 6000 series scopes.

Unfortunately the 4000 drivers are on the longer term plan and as such I can't give timescales, sorry.
