Got a new laptop with Windows 7. Installed software but when I try to launch Picotech the device cannot be found, any ideas?

Which software did you install PicoScope6 or PicoLog?

Please also try the following:

  • Check Device Manager for the PicoScope under 'Universal Serial Bus controllers' or 'Pico Technology Instruments', or unknown device.
  • Install on another PC.
  • Check the USB cable and try the device as the only USB device connected to the laptop.
