holdoff

Post by franceconve »

Hi all,
I have a 2205 oscilloscope and I need of a trigger function usually available in other oscilloscope: the Hold-Off. With this trigger function is possible to specify a certain period following a trigger event during which the scope will not trigger again. I have search this function in the advanced trigger but I hanev't found.
Could you help me?
Francesco

I need to trigger repetitive signal, coming from serial port, with some irregularities that does not permit to have stable display with other trigger strategies.

I have a few more questions regarding your setup :-

Are the irregularities correctly formatted serial data or just noise ?
What is the nature of the repetitive signal ? actual data, data rate, jitter ?
What are you looking for when examining the signal trace ?
Are you using the serial decoding functionality of our software ?

Thanks
