ADC-24 won't work

Post by doughoward23 »

I have a Picolog ADC-24. Previously I had a 1216 that worked very well on my computer. When I try to start my ADC-24 first the LED does not light up at all, second I get a message that Driver pl1000.dll not found, third I get a message that “unit with serial ‘AQ005/120’ missing and no spare Picolog1216 units attached, forth the unit does not appear in the “safely remove hardware” in the system tray, fifth when I open the recorder, in the voltage column for the selected channels, all I see is “*****” instead of “0.000.”
Please help.

Hi this is because you must have reinstalled the software for the ADC24, the drivers for the Picolog1000 would then be removed. Next time you open up Picolog recorder it remembers the last settings, but it could not find, the driver and this is the reason why you get those messages.

You should really install the software and click on the "Install for other devices" box.

If you click on ok to get rid of all those messages, and then start a new configuration from fresh by clicking on File->New Settings.

Let me know if you require any further assistance.
Kind regards
