Fixed Sampling Frequency

Post by pauld »

Hello,

I recently captured some signals using PicoScope6 and a 4227 PicoScope at (according to the drop down menu) 1MS/s sampling frequency. When I analyzed the signals in Matlab I noticed from the time interval of the data points that the sampling frequency was actually 15.625 MHz (simply just taking the inverse of the Tinterval parameter given in the .mat file which was 64ns). Am I doing something wrong here?

Is there a way to fix the actual sampling frequency to match exactly the sampling frequency chosen in the drop down menu?

Thanks,
Paul
