Postby florey » Tue Mar 29, 2011 7:38 am

I have just changed from a TC-08 to a USB TC-08, Having uninstalled serial TC-08 then installing USB TC-08 it keeps coming up with hardware not found properly driver TC-0832 dll not found, this is the driver for serial TC-08 which is confusing. has anyone found this problem and no a fix for it?

HI and thank you for your post.

Eventhough you have uninstalled the software and installed it again for the USC-TC08 the settings files have not been deleted. So it remembers the last device connected. What you need to do is click on ok to get rid of all the messages and start from fresh by going into file -> new settings.

Kind regards

Thanks for the quick reply Ziko
Getting closer.
I no longer get the tc0832.dll driver not found issue. however when I now select tc-08 usb is still states the procedure EncodePointer not found in the dll 'Kernel32.dll' and then the popup with driver 'usbtc08.dll' not found appears which is strange because I can see the driver in the pico folder.

What operating system are you using? Also what service pack are you using?
