manually install picolog1216 usb driver

Hi,

I am developing an application in VB that uses the Picolog 1216.
Since I don't want to install picolog software applications I followed the instructions in the picoreadme file

I quote:
1) USB drivers
Copy picopp.inf to <winroot>\inf
Copy picopp.sys to <winroot>\system32\drivers
Plug the device in and follow the new hardware wizard.

When I do this the hardware wizard appears. I choose not to search for the driver in internet.
Upon clicking on "next" button the wizard says it does not find the information to install the hardware.

Help me please cause this is urgent.

You will also need to run dpinst.exe file.

If you have a 32 bit operating system, use the DPInst.exe from the x86 folder.
For a 64 bit operating system, run the DPInst.exe from the amd64 folder. (irrespective of your processor manufacturer.)
