Accuracy/noise of meas. values by Dr. DAQ (parallel port)

Post by yuuishii »

Hi,

I'm using Dr. DAQ (Parallel port type) to obtain pH-titrate curves.
The measured pH and temperature -- from the external port --
seem to fluctuate according to other I/O inputs, e.g. environmental
illuminance, sound/noise, etc.
How can I suppress their noise?
Futhermore, how is the accuracy of the measured values?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Yuu

Hi and thank you for your email. Could you email me your plw file?

When you the readings fluctuate according to other I/OS, what kind of enviroment is the DrDaq exposed to?

In terms of accuracy you really need to calibrate it using 3 PH solutions and put the values in a scaling file.

Kind regards
