TC-08 multiple loggers, one PC

Postby ekgrove1s » Tue Feb 15, 2011 7:36 pm

I've seen a previous thread asking about this, but the instructions were unclear and didn't work for me. I'm trying to hook up two seperate TC-08 dataloggers (8 thermocouples each), to one PC. Is there a list of instructions on how to go through this? I tried using multiple converters, but when I try to add the second converter, it only recognized one of the peices of hardware.
Thanks,
Eliza

Hi Eliza,

Can you see both devices in device manager? Are they both USB TC-08s or serial TC-08s or a combination of both?

Kind regards

They are both USB TC-08's. But it will not recognize both at the same time, only one. When I go into the Converter details box and select the converter type of USB, it will only display one of the USB devices.

Hi but do they both appear in device manager under "Universal Serial Bus Controller" (Control Panel -> System -> Hardware->Device Manager).

Kind regards
