.NET Streaming 4224

Postby Laro88 » Thu Dec 16, 2010 7:00 am

I spent all day yesterday trying to get streaming up and running on my 4224.

I Basically would like to get 1 MS/s from both channels, however the scope seems dead silent.

I have tried to tveak teh PS4000ConsoleExample.cs, but no success sofar.

Does anyone have a "clean" solution in .NET?

Does the scope work with the PicoScope 6 application?

If so, did the example work before you 'tweaked' it?

Picoscope 6 is fine, and the console sample is ok before tweaking.

I did actually get it up and running, however my confidence in the data is not high yet.

Any details on the driver documentation would be nice, how to use the async for example. This is needed since the performance of the driver is dissapointing. 1MS/s can be processed without any performance issue, but the driver seems to "eat" cpu time.

Basically some simple "lean" samples would be highly appreciated.

Hopefully picotech will at some point do a proper .NET driver for the "older" scopes.
