Serial deconding error

Post by maxsca »

I'm testing the serial deconding sending two byte, 0xAA and 0x55, at 9600N81 from a PC.
The deconding fail the second byte, because this byte is sent without a delay from the first and the SW don't detect correctly the start bit.

See image.
Thanks

I am experiencing the same issue, I have tried 38400 baud and I got the same result: words following the first one are wrongly decoded because Picoscope software fails on detecting the start bit.
I hope this nasty bug is corrected and I thank the pico team anyway for having introduced UART decoding, which may be very handy!

Francesco

I have tested the new R6.5.51 beta software and now the UART decoding works well!
Thank you Pico team! :D
