PicoScope 9000 wihout GUI

Postby VINBH345 » Wed Sep 22, 2010 7:50 am

Hello,

I want to use the PicoScope 9000 with own Software for an automatic tester.
Therfore I have the need to prevent manual handling.

In the SDK I found neither a description to use the SDK without PicoScope9000.exe GUI nor a description to block manual handling in the GUI.

Is there any posibility to do that?

Thanks in advance for a quick answer. I have only a week to make the decision if we use this scope in our automatic tester in the future.

Best regards

Hi sorry for the delayed response, the software expert on this system is away.

I have investigated this a little further, the control of the hardware is done via the commands detailed in the user manual. It passes these commands to the PicoScope 9000 software which then in turns controls the hardware. As such you have to have the PicoScope 9000 software installed.

I hope this answers yours questions.

Kind regards

Hello ziko,

thanks for the replay.

But this answers not my question. My question was not to use PicoScope 9000 without PicoScope 9000 software.

I'm ask if there are a posibility to run the PicoScope 9000 software in the background. Without a GUI or a posibility to block the GUI to avoid manual operating during the automatic test.

Kind regards.

Hi unfortunately this is not possible at the moment. However this is something we are thinking of doing in the not too distant future.
