frequency reference table

Post by TageS »

How do I fix the data in the spectra view?

I have for example a microphone with a sensitivity table as follows.
1V/μPa at 1 kHz
2V/μPa at 5 kHz
0.5V/μPa at 10 kHz
And so on.

How do I add such a reference file in PicoScope 6?

If I understand correctly you would want to do the following:

1) Detect the frequency of a signal
2) Apply a different scaling setup for the different frequencies.

If that's the case then unfortunately this is not a feature that exists in the software.

Let me know if I have misunderstood your query.

Kind regards

Thanks for the reply.

It is ptrecis what I want to do, to compensate for microphone frequency response so that the FFT spectra show the correct sound level.

What a shame you can not put this frequency compensation.
The program is otherwise really nice but I need this function.

Yours sincerely
