I have been trying to install Picoscope 5 and 6 on an XP SP3 notebook. I get Error 1327 Invalid Drive T:\ using the supplied CD or a downloaded version. There is no drive T: Anyone know a workaround? Thanks Duncan
Ziko, I used the CD that Pico supplied then downloaded the installation programmes from the Pico site to the local HDD C: The problem was the same either way - it still looks for a non existent drive T: Regards
I did have Picoscope 5 installed so I have just tried to uninstall it and, guess what; I get the same Pico Technology Software Error 1327 - Invalid Drive T:\ Regards
Did you have an external drive connected before at some point? It could be that windows still thinks its mapped and that is what is causing the problem.
Try going into system configuration by going in the "run" option under the "Start Menu" then type in "winmsd" and then hit enter, choose Components->Storage and see if the T drive is listed there.
There's no T: listed in Components/Storage and, having done an IOBit Uninstall and several registry cleaner passes there is no Pico or psw or plw in the registry. Despite that the installer still fails with the T:\ error. There are references to T: in the registry but all to do with Microsoft Office components. Inspiration desperately needed. Duncan
