6000 series Picoscope Operating range

Post by dans »

Hi all,

I'm looking to use a picoscope in an application that has a temperature environment spec of 0 - 49c

I know that the datasheet says 0-40c (or 20-30c for stated accuracy). Anyone know if this is correct? Will they work over higher temperature range?

Is it possible to get a unit with an extended temperature range?

Cheers,
Dan

Hi,
We do not manufacture any units with extended operating temperature range, the cost would be excessive for the very few that would require it. I have been told that some of our units actually work well at -20 degrees C but there are absolutely no guarantees. I have seen a unit overheated to the extent that the plastic has melted and again that was still working once cooled down. (Don't know if the user survived!)
Regards,
PeterF.
