High Voltage Scope Measurements Conventionally

Post by Sean Middleton »

When using a conventional 2 channel CRO high voltages can be measured without reference to ground by simply inverting channel B and selecting 'Add A + B'; which is available on most scopes.

Why can't Pico scope do likewise?

Hi,
All our scopes that use PicoScope6 (All USB scopes) have got "Channel Maths" which can do just that and much more. it is however not for measuring "High" voltages, it is used for "Differential" measurements.
"Channel Maths" can be found on the "Tools" menu.

PeterF.
