two measurement lines on one graph (capture and overlay)?

Post by rockline1 »

if i want to compare two measurement line on one display, how could i do this?
for example: i made a two channel measurement. Channel A ist a 15mS DC Signal, and channel two is a DC signal from a laserdistance sensor from the move of an actuator. In a second measurement with the same channel A signal (an graph) i will get another laserdistance signal (eg another pressure on an actuator) and want to compare this with the measurement from the first time.
The only way i know is to store the two measurements, and compare it. But is there a way to get both measurement on one window, like i do a capture from the first measurement and add it in the second measurement, so that i can compare it direkt like an overlay?
This would be great!
Thank you - Stefan

Hi,
You can do this easily in PicoScope6. Just go to "Tools", "Reference Waveforms" and follow the instructions in the "Help" dialogue. You can save multiple waveforms like this.
