Outputting data to Excel

Postby Bourns » Fri Nov 14, 2003 10:54 am

I have recently purchased the TC-08 and i wish to use it to for furnace profiling. I can export the current value using DDE but i need to export each new data point onto a new line so that the data can be automatically analysed. I have no programming experience and cannot get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I would advise you to look at our examples in both VB and the examples for Excel. This will give you a very simple example of collecting data, as a temperature reading and in milliviolts. This example will have function calls to the driver they can be identified by the TC08_ at the start of the functions name.

Read the help manual under 'Writing your own software', this will explain the parameter types. You may also find a book on VBA usefull as well.

Best regards,
Regards,
