I want to perform current measurements from one channel of the ADC-24 with full scale 2.5A what must precede the entrance of the channel one? Must use a shunt? what value?

 Sorry for my English. I rewrote the previous topic.
I would like to measure the current by means of the ADC24 device with a range of +- 2.5A.
What should I put before to obtain this measurement? Do I have to use a shunt? If so, what value do I have to use?
