Driver Problems

Postby bdixon » Thu Mar 04, 2010 2:09 pm

I've tried to install the drivers on both Fedora 12 and Ubuntu 9.10 for the Picoscope 2203 and have identical problems on both distributions.

The drivers seem to install without any issues (the rpm in Fedora and a deb created using Alien in Ubuntu)

Running the usbtest script (As root/ with sudo) works fine and the device is found.

If I compile the test console program and try to run it (as root/ with sudo) I get "unable to open device"

Any advice on how best to proceed troubleshooting this would be much appreciated.
