Hi ziko,

I'm not asking for high samples rates on long timebases. I would like to view the waveform, a 1-5kHz sine wave, with PicoScope set to 200us/div. This waveform is driven from the AWG through my DUT. I then want to set up measurements on each channel of the PS2203. This is so I can view the waveform in real-time and see how it develops over the course of my test.

While all of this is going on, I would like to log the results, either the "raw" channels levels or, even better, the measurement data, to a file. I don't care to see the waveforms from the past in PicoScope, but I want to have a record of the data.

It seems to me I'm looking for a combination of PicoScope and PicoLog. I want the entire current PicoScope experience, but I want to be able to write waveform data at the scope inputs to a file at regular intervals. Is this a planned feature of PicoScope sometime in the future?

Aha!

What you can do is use alarms!

If you go to tools -> Alarms

Then select Event to be Capture
Select Beep and then edit

A window will pop up wiht "Alarm Action"

Seclect the Action to be "Save Current Buffer"

Then for File Select the ...
Choose a file name and then Select "Save As Type" as CSV or txt.

Hope this helps.
