No suitable device found error.

Post by ErikB »

I have Windows XP SP3, a Dell C840 Pentium 4 1.8GHz with 512MB of RAM. This is a fresh install of XP with almost no ther software added, it is very fast.

I have a PCMCIA to USB 2.0 adapter card in order to have the high speed port. The PICO 4224 scope shows up in device manager and yet the PICO 6.2.14.0 software cannot fing the scope. I tred the scope with XP SP2 and then installed SP3, and got the same error.

I think that the software should be abloe to find the scope if it is in device manager.

What do you suggest?

Hi,
Does the PicoScope6 software find the scope and run if you just use the legacy USB 1.1 ports? The refresh rate will be low but it should work if all is working with the software.
Are you sure the PCMCIA card can output the full 500mA to the scope (some can't)?
