Picolog on 2008

Post by Guest » Thu Jan 08, 2009 10:51 am

Hi,

We have recently bought some new TC-08 USB loggers. They seem to require the latest software to run.

However, the latest software does not seem to install onto Windows Server 2003, which is what our PCs are running.

The old software does install onto these PCs.

Is this correct? Is it possible to get a version of Picolog which does install onto Windows Server?

Best Regards,

-
James

Hi, we never did support Windows Server 2003, have you tried version 5.16.2 instead to see if this works. Both 5.20.3 and 5.16.2 are available on our website. I cannot guarantee that it will work.

Kind regards

Hi,

I've installed the Picolog Recorder v 5.22 onto Windows Server 2008 R2. They've been working fine with TC-08 USB loggers for the past 8 months. Since it has never been tested for this support, how reliable are the data obtain? (I.e. are the temperatures read accurate?)

Providing the software is running the data collected should be fine
