TC-08 used with differential thermocouples??

Post by bill » Thu Dec 04, 2008 4:48 am

I'm using a TC-08 and was wondering how it can be set up to recordand interpret data from thermocouples that are configured for differential temperature determination, i.e. using two junctions to determine deta T instead of just one junction to determine T. The reason I want to do this is to reduce the uncertainties involved with differing thermocouples. I'd like to use type T thermocouples.

Thanks!!!

Hi bill,

Forgive me if have not understood fully what you said. But do you want to basically subtract one reading from another? If so you can do this via the calculated parameters options under the "Settings" you can find more information about this in the PicoLog manual.
