I am looking for either a PC Oscilloscope or Logger that:
- Has a range of 0V to 72V (using a probe with ratio is okay)
- Automatically triggered when voltage drops under 40V, and captures voltage dip for 10ms
The Logger will be connected to a laptop and be left in a remote location with no supervision for a few days. Can any of the Pico model capture and store multiple triggered event? And the captured information has time stamp?
I need to capture 2 channels simultaneously, and would like to sample at about 50us or slightly shorter.
Just want to confirm, the scope can record 10ms after a trigger. And then record additional sessions of 10ms after other triggers? And the recording would show date and time?
Which model would be suitable?
Actually the purpose is to measure noise and dip of -48V DC power supply. Would I need a differential probe?
In terms of the number of channels and sampling interval that should be no problem.
In terms of showing date and time, the sampled data will not give you a time but the file will have a date and time according to windows. Every time a trigger event happens a file will be created and windows will give you the date and time of when the file was modified.
Another thing to note is what the delay between trigger events is, as the the scope I am thinking of may need up to 50ms to rearm itself.
If this is not problem than I would recommend looking at the 2203.
Thanks, I ordered a 5204 and had it arrived today. Done some testings and it does what I needed except the timestamp. How do I make it automatically write to laptop's harddrive in PicoScope 6?
