Import Audio sample into Arbitrary (AWG)

Post by dagsun »

Hello,
This is my very first topic in this forum.

I work as guitar amp technician, and sometimes I need some transient curves
to stress an amp.
My question is:
Can I in some way import a short audio sample into the AWG?
I don`t understand that .CSV og .ODS format stuff.....

Cheers Dag

Hi Dag,

The answer to your question is yes you can. What you can do is capture the audio sample and then import the captured data of the Channel into the AWG. You can do that by following the steps shown in the GIF file below:
Using a captured waveform in the AWG.gif
Using a captured waveform in the AWG.psdata
(47.2 KiB) Downloaded 14 times
(Note that it's not quite as straightforward as I have shown, because you will need to match the duration of your audio sample to the Timebase that you set for the capture, if you want to fill the waveform buffer with the exact length of the audio sample.)
