Not functioning trigger

Post by moorbatter »

Hello all,

All I'm trying to do is get a 12 volt bench power supply's output to trigger a trigger. My 2204A seems to slow down significantly and stop triggering the moment I over 2 volts. It appears to function properly up to 10 mv in AWG, however everything breaks when a PSU is used. The pico clicks and speeds up again in trigger mode if I turn off the power supply, and it can trigger at nearly 10 mV.

I've been attempting for hours; kindly let me know what I'm not doing correctly.

Are you using our PicoScope 7 software?
Does it seem to trigger a capture every second?

Is the trigger set to Auto? and rising edge with a voltage level that your power supply exceeds?

Please post a psdata file so that we can see your setup.
