Calibration date

Post by Sergium »

To Picoscope Technical team:
Hi,
Not sure it is the right place for the following question ... sorry if not.

We developed a VB.NET application to use the Picoscopes functions we need.
We bougth a Picoscope 5242D for accurate checks of our products and asked for Calibration (UKAS) to get the device certified for one year regarding our quality system. We well received the device calibrated, but when we read the calibration date by using the "OpenUnit" function, it was not updated by the calibration company.
We asked why they did not change it, they said they have no access to this parameter.
(It seems this parameter is stored in a OTP memory at the end of the device production line(?))
Can you help in this matter. As said previously this is part of our Quality Management: if the calibration date is over, measurements with the Picoscope is refused by software ; then this information is important.

In advance thank you for your support
Serge
