Cannot load settings

Post by doragasu »

I am using Picoscope 7 (version: 7.1.21.18179) on ArchLinux with a 2204A unit (Driver version: PS2000 Linux Driver, 3.0.130.5654). Most features work, but I am not able to load settings. When the program starts, and error window is shown with text: "File was saved on a PS3406B device using an unsupported driver for this version of PicoScope."

In addition, if I save a .pssettings file and the try reloading it on a later session, I get the error message "Stream was not readable."

I have tried removing settings (".local/share/Pico Technology" directory) just in case there is some corrupt config there, but it does not help, the program starts with factory settings but with the same problems.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

In the Settings menu if you select "Last session", does the software restart correctly with the previous sessions settings?
