'PICO_INVALID_HANDLE'

Post by woyoka »

I control four oscilloscopes using Python. Initially, there are no issues when opening the control, but when using streaming mode, an error occurs halfway through the data download.

But I haven't closed the control link with the oscilloscopes; they close chandle by themselves. I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue. Thank you.
I think it might be due to the large amount of data causing instability in USB transmission.

error raise PicoSDKCtypesError("PicoSDK returned '{}'".format(PICO_STATUS_LOOKUP[status]))
raise PicoSDKCtypesError("PicoSDK returned '{}'".format(PICO_STATUS_LOOKUP[status]))
picosdk.errors.PicoSDKCtypesError: PicoSDK returned 'PICO_INVALID_HANDLE'
picosdk.errors.PicoSDKCtypesError: PicoSDK returned 'PICO_INVALID_HANDLE'
raise PicoSDKCtypesError("PicoSDK returned '{}'".format(PICO_STATUS_LOOKUP[status]))
raise PicoSDKCtypesError("PicoSDK returned '{}'".format(PICO_STATUS_LOOKUP[status]))
picosdk.errors.PicoSDKCtypesError: PicoSDK returned 'PICO_INVALID_HANDLE'

Hi,
Could you give some more details about your setup.
What model PicoScope do you have?
What OS are you using Windows 10/11, Linux?
Python version?
USB connection USB2 or USB3?
