Where is AWG hidden?

Post by rogerb »

As I was unable to update the early access software on my older iMac I've bought a new Mac mini with the latest OS and installed the stable version of Picoscope 7 for my Picoscope 2206B.

Point is, where is the AWG functionality hidden? Used to work on the older v6!

Thanks, any help appreciated!

Hi Roger,

The AWG/SigGen should be the last section below the Channels on the left hand side of the display. If you only see Channels, then either {a} you are running in Demo Mode (because the Mac hardware or Software hasn't managed to find your device over USB) {b} You are using a PicoScope that doesn't have an AWG/SIgGen (e.g. an Automotive Scope) or {c} There is a genuine problem with the version of PicoScope that you are using (in which case you should provide feedback via the Software, if you can or, if not, via our Help desk (support@picotech.com) for the fastest response.

I had to look also but it is biting you so that was why I was not seeing it directly.

Thanks everyone,

It seems that after using the demo, I had to use the 'reset configuration' option and it now recognised the unit attached and behaved correctly. Lesson learnt!
