Feature Request - Copy Serial Decoding Slot Values to clipboard

Post by Edson Brusque »

Hello!

I'm using PicoScope 7.1.2.

When using serial decoding, many times I have to click 'Export', click 'Save', open the file on a spreadsheet/text editor, select the values contents, and do a Ctrl+C.

Only then I can paste it where I need, like a protocol dissector (i.e. http://rdm.openlighting.org/tools/packet-extractor).

It would be much more convenient if I could just click the Slot Values and do a Ctrl+C.

Can this be implemented, please?

Thank you!

If you use Fields and then hide all the fields you are not interested in you will get just the data that is visible in the export. However I will pass the info onto the team to see if we can improve the flow for this.

Hello Martyn,

This doesn't seems very difficult to implement and I think could be very useful, not just for me. The interface is already in place. It only needs to recognize a keystroke and copy the contents of the selected slot to clipboard.

Thank you!
