Connection issues with PS4824

Post by podl84 »

Hello,

in our company we use a lot of PS4824 oscilloscopes for our machines and for measuring setups and we are happy with it.
Yesterday I wanted to use a newly bought PS4824 and could not connect it with my computer (it get's power. LED light is red). In "Picoscope 6" it was just "Picoscope not found" and when I tried it in my own LabView program there came an "EEprom" failure. So I tried it with 4 other newly bought devices... same issue with every device. We checked it on 3 different computers: same issue. With the "older" PS4824 we have since a year or two, we don't have this issue and can use them.

Is there a known issues with a specific batch of devices or something similar? Maybe there is a solution we could use before sending the devices back to our distributor.

Thanks in advance :)

Frank

You will need to update to the latest version of PicoScope 6 (6.14.68) and the PicoSDK (10.7.24) from our website https://www.picotech.com/downloads These versions will work with both old and new batches of the PicoScope 4824A.
