PicoScope 7 as data logger

Post by paul0207 »

Hello,
Is it possible to use PS 7 with a 4000 series to log AC voltage?
As far as I know with PS 6 one can only save the buffer.
Thanks, Paul

Hi
I use PicoScope 7 Version: 7.0.121.14751 and PicoScope 5000 Series.

a function to save long-term measurements as csv would be very helpful

Hi,
I was told by Pico support to use the Picolog 6 software with the PicoScope oscilloscope.
Haven't tried it yet but hope this helps.

PicoLog would be useful for logging the values of slow changing signals over time. However if you are wanting to save the calculated measurements that are performed on the traces it would depend upon the measurements you need to save, the speeds of the signals, and the timeframe over which to do this.

One area worth investigating is the DeepMeasure feature in PicoScope 7 which can perform waveform cycle measurments on the current buffer, or all buffers, and these can be exported to CSV post capture.
