Strange behaviour when using 500s/div and zoomed in

Post by bennog »

Edit All below is on a headless remote desktop system and a PS4444 at 14bit resolution
On a PS3403D with a monitor and 8 bit resolution there is no problem.

edit2: the 4444 connected to a pc with a monitor the problem is also visible when starting with the below .psdata and a TA300 probe to CH4 connected only at 500S/div for some reason.

I was using my 4444 to use some long term monitoring of HV X-Ray power supply's.
Setting 500 s/div at 10MSample or 2kS/sec and zoomed in to the first 60 seconds of the capture.
During a running capture I get the whole screen filled from top to bottom with the color of channel A.

After stopping the capture it shows the capture was longer than the view at the than the progress on the screen.

Because mp4 is not a format possible I also atached a animated gif of the stopping of the capture.

Ok it has nothing to do with zooming.
When completely zoomed out i get exactly the same
below 1 sec before pressing the stop button

and directly after pressing the stop button

complete psdata is too big for attachment so here is the link.
