How to install Picoscope Picolog silently for unattended installation

Post by AndrewA »

For Windows PC that have never had PicoScope software installed, silent install command option will fail.
And will prompt for user interaction "User Account Control" (UAC) dialog box.
For silent install to work it first requires windows software certificates to be installed.
Here is a zip file that contains Pico Technology windows software certificates for our software.

For a new PC that has never had our software installed these need to installed first before the our installers are called with the silent command switches.
It also contains a powershell script that automatically installs these and also downloads and installs the current version of the follow software.
  • PicoScope 7 T&M Early Access
  • PicoScope 7 Automotive
  • PicoScope 6
  • PicoLog 6
You need to edit script for your requirements.

Our IT department wrote the script, so I don't know the exact details of how it works.

Is there a similar procedure that can be followed to install the SDK?
