TC-08 with PC Board connect Humidity Sensor

Post by Jeremy Skeggs »

Hi All
I'm try to connect a humidity sensor to the PP624 Board. I have the following issues.
1.I have a analog humidity sensor with 0-5 VDC output
2. Is the 5V input AC +5 Volt or DC +-5 Volt, there is inconstancy of the labeling and information
3. I had a cheap plug in transformer that put out 5.25 VDC 1 Amp max I purchased a Meanwell LRS-75-5 which will deliver exactly 5 VDC 14 Amp max, when i connect it the the new transformer the sensors now work better and humidity numbers match.
4. The issue is that now the other K Type sensors double in value, if conenct a second humidity sensor the valve doubles again(4x). The the voltage all checks out into the TC-08 PP624 Card (I'm just using a Klein multi meter)
Any help is much appreciated or links to how on how to wire this up correctly.

Hi All
Quick update what seems to be the problem is that the new transformer is lowering the "signal voltage" inside the TC-08. The "cheap transformer" signal input voltage(what show on the PC Screen) matches the test meter voltage. The Meanwell LRS-75-5 signal input voltage(what show on the PC Screen) is lower pico log voltage
Input Onscreen Reading
Meanwell LRS-75-5 2.83 VDC 1.62V
D Link Transformer (Cheap) 3.47 VDC 3.49V
