How do I get access to the measurements view in Picoscope 7?

Hi all,

I want to view the average of a channel that in the Picoscope 7 software. I thought the correct way to do this is Measurements->Mean for the respective channel. But clicking the measurement button does not seem to have any effect -- what is the correct way to display the average of a trace somewhere in the software? I am using Ubuntu 20 with Picoscope 7, stable version.
