SDK difference between PicoScope2000 and 3000

Hi,

I am currently working parallel with other engineers who use PicoScope 2000series. I am hoping to use a more advanced PicoScope 3000 series and i am wondering if the SDK and programming logic for 3000 series scope are the same as the 2000 series scope.
