TC-08 as Temp Increases the Reading Variation Increases

Post by titomitra »

Hello All,

I recently set a TC-08 and had a all working and though the data coming in was good.

Using k type thermocouples, in the 20 to 60 deg C had no major problems, +/- 2 deg C. However, as I went up in temp, 150 deg C up to 800 deg C the Pico Logger TC-08 is not being able to read the V from the thermocouples, and start variation.

So far the channels don't seem to be isolated and interact with each other, is this normal?
And also, when the reading seems to be "ok" it just goes bad at 550 deg C, it wont read anything above that temperature. When using a hand held multimeter I was able to confirm the temp source does keep on increasing.

Would really appreciate any help.
