How to configure sample interval for data dump?

Post by tholome »

Hello,

I'm new to Picoscope. I'm trying to measure and log a value over a long period of time (hours). I have successfully configured Picoscope to 5000s/div to capture a very long time and I am getting the corresponding .txt data dump via "Save As...", but I haven't found how I configure the sample interval of the data dump. Right now I get a resolution of .1s and I'd prefer .5s or 1s to make the data lighter to manipulate. I thought reducing the number of samples would do the trick, but it doesn't. I have searched for how to do this in the user manual to no avail so I'm turning to you folks for help.

Thanks in advance!

I think that is the slowest the scope can do.

You can simply filter every 10th line or what you want if you have Linux or cygwin or WSL

You can do it with powershell but it is vastly more complex
