USB isolator for measuring low voltage differential bus
I am looking for a scope for checking cabling issues in automation buses. I have my eyes on the 2204a.
For rs485 lines with floating common, if I use a USB isolator for the picoscope, would it be possible to connect A to the "ground" of the 1st channel to directly get the differential or would that risk damaging the scope?
If not a good idea, would you have a differential probe that is reasonably priced to advice? (only for low voltage buses)
Thanks for your help,
Zoé
