PicoScope 5444 won't connect with Windows 7

PicoScope 5444 won't connect with Windows 7

I have several 5444 scopes that will connect to my Win10 laptop, but not the Win7 system used for development.
OS is Windows 7 32-bit.
Software version is 6.14.54.6108
I do see the scope in the device manager, but the PicoScope software only displays a demo device.
I am using the blue USB cable that came with the scope.
Power adapter is connected.

Suggestions on how to fix this?
